Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Pasta Any type works well, but egg noodles or macaroni are popular choices.
  • 1 can Tuna About 12 ounces, choose either chunk light or solid white tuna, drained.
  • 1 can Cream of mushroom soup 10.5 ounces, adds creaminess and flavor.
  • 1 cup Frozen peas Adds a pop of color and nutrition.
  • 1 cup Shredded cheese Cheddar cheese is a favorite, but feel free to mix it up!
  • 1/2 cup Milk Helps to create a creamy texture.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder For an extra layer of flavor.
  • to taste Salt Essential for seasoning your dish.
  • to taste Pepper Essential for seasoning your dish.
  • optional Breadcrumbs For a crispy topping.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8 to 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained tuna, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well until everything is mixed together. Add the frozen peas.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the tuna mixture and gently fold until evenly coated. Mix in about three-quarters of the shredded cheese.
  • Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish. If desired, sprinkle the remaining cheese and optional breadcrumbs on top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
