  • 1 loaf French or Italian bread Choose your favorite type of bread.

Garlic Butter Mixture

  • 3-4 cloves Fresh garlic Minced, adjust based on preference.
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter Softened for easy mixing.
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley Finely chopped for flavor and color.
  • 1 pinch Salt Enhances flavor, optional if using salted butter.

Optional Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan cheese For a cheesy twist.
  • 1/2 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese For a cheesy twist.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning For added flavor.

Instructions
 

  • Gather all your ingredients: bread, garlic, butter, parsley, and any optional ingredients.
  • In a mixing bowl, soften the butter and then add minced garlic and chopped parsley. Mix until well combined.
  • Slice the loaf of bread in half lengthwise and spread the garlic butter mixture generously on both halves.
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the bread halves on a baking sheet, cut side up.
  • Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and crispy. For extra crispiness, broil for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven, let cool for a minute, then slice and serve warm.
