Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound Ground beef Provides protein and flavor.
  • 12 ounces Cheese tortellini Fresh or frozen tortellini works well.
  • 2 cups Heavy cream Creates a rich and creamy sauce.
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan cheese Adds a savory, nutty flavor.
  • 4 cloves Garlic Minced for flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning Enhances the overall flavor.
  • to taste Salt Balances the flavors.
  • to taste Pepper Balances the flavors.
  • 1 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese Creates a gooey topping.
  • to taste Fresh parsley Chopped, for garnish.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet, heat a splash of oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  • Stir in minced garlic and Italian seasoning, cooking for another minute until fragrant.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese. Whisk until smooth and season with salt and pepper.
  • In a large baking dish, layer half of the cooked beef mixture, half of the tortellini, and half of the creamy sauce. Repeat the layers.
  • Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  • Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  • Let cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

This dish is versatile; feel free to add vegetables or substitute the beef for a vegetarian option.
