Ingredients
  

  • 4 pieces Boneless, skinless chicken breasts Choose fresh chicken for the best flavor and texture.
  • 1 package (5.2 oz) Boursin garlic and herb cheese This creamy cheese is the star of the dish, providing rich flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil Helps to keep the chicken moist while cooking.
  • to taste Salt Use to season the chicken to your taste.
  • to taste Pepper Use to season the chicken to your taste.
  • optional Fresh herbs (parsley or thyme) For added freshness and color.
  • as needed Toothpicks or kitchen twine To secure the chicken after stuffing it with cheese.

Instructions
 

  • Rinse the chicken breasts under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  • Using a sharp knife, carefully slice a pocket into the side of each chicken breast, being careful not to cut all the way through.
  • In a mixing bowl, scoop the Boursin cheese and mix in any optional fresh herbs. Mash until smooth and creamy.
  • Stuff each chicken pocket with a generous spoonful of the Boursin cheese mixture and secure the openings with toothpicks or kitchen twine.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the stuffed chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer; it should reach 165°F (75°C).
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
