Ingredients

  • 2 large Eggs Helps bind the ingredients together.
  • 1/4 cup Honey or maple syrup For sweetness.
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract Adds flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder Helps the bake rise.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon For added flavor.
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt Enhances flavor.
  • 1/2 cup Chopped nuts Optional, such as walnuts or almonds for extra crunch.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Lightly grease a 9x9 inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Stir until well mixed.
  • In another bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • Gently fold the blueberries into the wet mixture, being careful not to mash them.
  • Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Transfer to the prepared baking dish, spreading evenly.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let cool for a few minutes before cutting into squares and serving.
